IN THIS EDITION
Kimberly Lefebvre has received a prophetic word for someone who wrote to ask for prayer in the shoutbox. Unexpectedly, the Lord started pouring out a message we believe could also speak to many others. So Kimberly agreed to share it here.
read more Mark Lang shares some inspiring personal insight into the question of understanding seasons of desert, contentment and the will of God - and what if some of our deserts were of our own making? Who or what is the target of our "warfare?"
read more Len Hjalmarson writes about "Hope, Memory and Waiting in a Place of Exile." Another vulnerable look at our journey and expectations as we draw closer to the truth about our own hearts...
read more Dr. Bill Stephenson: "There is a deep need in every one of us to be close to God. Experiencing God is something to be sought after and not avoided.
While we base our theology on God's Word, our experiences with God make it all come alive. The Bible is a book of experiences of men and women of God throughout history, whose lives were changed through divine encounter.

There is a God in Heaven!
A prophetic word - by Kimberly Lefebvre Last week as I was reading the prayer box, there were 2 requests that struck me - one was asking for prayer for healing as he attended a " Be in Health conference" and the other was a post by a sister who requested prayer for ministry, for healing for her daughter's arm, and for her son to find a job. I suddenly felt such a strong burden, like the weight of the journey, and then I began to recieve a song from the Lord. I believe this song was a prophetic word that came in direct response to these prayer requests, but that it is also for many of us who read and post on soaking.net. more!
Exploring the Desert by Mark Lang Every so often, like a clock running down, I run up against the limits of my own soul. I'm tired, or I have nothing left to give, or I want change, or I don't want to change, or the day seems longer than my energy. Maybe I've hit this wall with my job, within my church, or with a friend or in my marriage. I'm tired of what is, feel inadequate for the task, and I long for a different future; but I don't know what that future looks like, and I don't seem to have the personal resources to get there. Sometimes I have simply failed to live and love faithfully, and I am discouraged. Let me off the merry-go-round! more!

Why should we soak?
by Bill Stephenson (Deeper Christian Life ISC)
The first one is the MOST important. If you, simply want to have more intimacy in your love for your heavenly Father, soaking can take you deeper. You will never know the Lord intimately until you discover that quiet and still place of God within you and then practice His living presence inside of you in that very stillness until you have continual and unbroken fellowship with your Lord. more!
MESSAGE FROM ANDRÉ
SOAKINGPLANET.COM IS REALLY COMING! We are very close in completing the new extension of our Soaking.Net site. SOAKINGPLANET.COM is just about ready to receive registrations and allow the development of a much broader platform for edification, exhortation and encouragement. The site is mainly designed for two objectives: give better exposure to artists whose art ministers and inspires at a deep level, and allow them to also sell their CDs, books, paintings, etc. The other is to open the way for anyone who so desires to have their own little page with a blog. The site will operate on the familiar basis of membership, some free, some requiring a small payment, either monthly or yearly. The payment modules are probably the last thing we need to complete. For now, you can visit the site HERE and if you have any comment or suggestion, please feel free to email us at: soakingnet@gmail.com. Coming soon to a computer screen near you: SoakingPlanet.com! :O) God is the God of the living Blessings to all, Andre Lefebvre www.soaking.net
